Volunteers from the Slots City Foundation, together with the Charitable Fund “Kyshchentsi” and its partner De Leeuw Kyiv Foundation from the Netherlands, have donated a 250 kW generator to the Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. Once connected, it will be used to ensure uninterrupted operation of the hospital’s food block and for sterilizing medical instruments.
While the main goal of the Slots City Foundation is to assist the military, volunteers also care for people who have found themselves in difficult situations due to the war. This primarily includes displaced persons and those living in active conflict zones. For this humanitarian assistance program alone, in September 2023, the Foundation’s volunteers managed to allocate over 20 million UAH.
Typically, humanitarian aid packages prepared by volunteers include food items, hygiene products, and household chemicals. In aid deliveries to residents of frontline areas, who suffer from shelling and live without electricity, warm clothing and heaters are often added. Volunteers from the Slots City Foundation also assist hospitals by providing medication and medical equipment, as well as ensuring treatment for military personnel. Additionally, they help families who have been left homeless due to shelling. The total amount of assistance provided by volunteers during the Foundation’s operation in 2023 exceeded 150 million UAH.
