Volunteers from the Slots City Foundation have financed the technical development of a rocket system and a remote-controlled tank machine gun system called “Solovey” (“Nightingale”). This marks the beginning of a long-term program of the Foundation aimed at technical developments in Ukrainian production for the army.
Volunteers from the Slots City Foundation are funding technical developments in Ukrainian production for the army. With the help of the Foundation, a series of innovations have already been developed, including military equipment with remote control, aimed at saving the lives of Ukrainian defenders. The first development was a rocket system based on the armored Hammer, using trophy guidance elements for GRAD rockets. In addition, volunteers have financed the development and purchase of six remote video surveillance systems called “Solovey”. This complex is designed for observation and fire control from closed positions, trenches, and dugouts. According to the developers, it also ensures effective detection and destruction of enemy infantry and lightly armored targets from long distances.
The machine gun can be controlled via a remote control, which provides precise targeting: the fighter can adjust the speed of weapon rotation on two axes. According to the developers, this complex is invisible to radio reconnaissance and resistant to any enemy radio-electronic interference, ensuring the safety of military personnel operating the machine gun. Since last year, the Slots City Foundation has been developing repair programs for drones, vehicles, and watercrafts for the military, along with partner mechanics, as well as targeted assistance projects for military personnel and internally displaced persons. In total, during its operation, the Foundation, together with partner repair shops, has repaired over 100 vehicles, including ambulances, trucks, and armored vehicles.
