Slots City Foundation’s January Report: a Boat, a Truck, Generators, and Aid to a Hospital and a Drone School
Back in January, friends and volunteers of the Slots City Foundation donated more than 2.7 million UAH for the needs of the army and humanitarian aid. In addition to helping with car repairs, this month friends of the Foundation bought a boat and a truck for the Armed Forces. Drones, generators, rangefinders and thermal imagers are among the equipment transferred to the front. Since the beginning of this year, the Foundation has expanded its targeted assistance: cooperation with the School for training military UAV operators has been added to the support of the medical clinic.
In the first month of 2023, volunteers aided fighters on the front with generators and charging stations, Starlinks and gas stoves, as well as various pieces of military equipment. Volunteers also continued help the displaced. The total amount of aid to the army in January from friends and volunteers of the Foundation amounted to UAH 2,745,877.
“For volunteers and friends of the Foundation, assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is expanding this year to long-term partnerships”, says Stanislav Andreev, director of the Slots City Foundation. “We continue to help specific brigades of the Armed Forces with requests for cars, drones, and equipment. Some targeted programs were also included at the end of the last year: humanitarian assistance to the displaced persons and medical assistance to the wounded. In January, we started the third major direction – training of professional drone operators. We believe that each of our transfers not only saves lives of our defenders, but also brings our common Victory closer,” he added.
