‘Come on, lads, everyone to battle!’ – with such musical spirit, our defenders launch the ‘Mosquito’ in the Orikhiv direction. And the drone successfully carries out its mission.
This video was filmed by the soldiers of the 46th separate airborne brigade, which operates in the challenging Zaporizhzhia direction.
In the video, you can clearly see how drones, repaired thanks to volunteers, carefully and accurately track enemy equipment. In August, our partners, the Vector Optical Laboratory VOL, repaired 10 DJI Mavic drones for the fighters of this brigade alone. Thanks to the new direction of assistance from our Foundation, a total of 79 drones were repaired and returned to the front, amounting to 10,778,000 UAH.
In addition to these repaired drones, friends and volunteers of Slots City Foundation have provided over 100 new drones of various types, plus parts and components, to various units of the Armed Forces during the Foundation’s operation for the army’s needs. Providing drones to defenders is one of the key programs of the Foundation. In addition to purchasing new drones and repairing damaged UAVs, the Foundation sponsors free training for military personnel in a school for managing combat ‘birds’.
“‘Drones’ is one of the most common requests from the military that our volunteers hear,” says Artem Stohniy, director of the Slots City Foundation. “Combat ‘birds’ not only help determine the enemy’s positions but also save the lives of defenders. Repair, training, and drone purchases were identified as a key direction from the very beginning of the Foundation’s work for Victory. And now we can assess the effectiveness of this work. Military personnel believe that on average, one drone withstands 5-6 operations and saves the lives of a company of soldiers. Even if each drone from this hundred saved at least one life, the efforts of our volunteers were not in vain,” he added.
During the Foundation’s operation, volunteers from Slots City Foundation repaired and handed over to the army over 50 vehicles, including trucks and ‘ambulances’, more than 80 charging stations, as well as satellite links, thermal imagers, generators, and other equipment for the fighters. In total, the assistance to the army and displaced persons from the volunteers of the Foundation exceeded 70 million UAH.
