4.7 Tons of Humanitarian Aid: Slots City Foundation Volunteers Report for the First Quarter
In the first three months of 2024, volunteers from the Slots City Foundation processed 237 requests for humanitarian aid.
Of these, 86 requests came from internally displaced persons (mostly from Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions). The remaining 151 requests were from active combat zones, with the majority coming from Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions.
In response to these requests, the volunteers of the Slots City Foundation sent a total of 4.74 tons of humanitarian aid packages throughout January, February, and March. These packages typically included food products, hygiene items, and household cleaning supplies. For residents of frontline areas suffering from shelling and living without electricity, the volunteers often added warm clothing and heaters.
As part of the “Free People: Help” project, the Foundation’s volunteers, along with friends and partners, have fulfilled more than 2,000 requests for targeted assistance. Through this effort, 72 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to displaced persons, residents of combat zones, and de-occupied territories.
The total amount of aid provided by the Foundation’s volunteers since its inception has exceeded 298 million UAH.
