50 Modern Functional Beds and Medical Mattresses for a Hospital in the Odesa Region
Thanks to the collaboration of the charitable foundations “Noble Cause,” “Deliv Kyiv,” and “Kischenzi,” and with the support of volunteers from Slots City Foundation, the Tarutyn Central Hospital in the Odesa region received 50 modern functional beds and medical mattresses.
“Our hospital is currently undergoing a reformatting stage – we are dismantling old beds and replacing them with these wonderful new functional beds to provide high-quality and reliable care to our patients,” says Serhiy Biloiivanenko, the General Director of Tarutyn Central Hospital.
This is not the first aid for a hospital in the Odesa region. Previously, volunteers from Slots City Foundation delivered a 61.6 kW generator to the hospital, which is now functioning successfully and assisting doctors in their work.
“Our cooperation with partner foundations is aimed at the comprehensive provision of medical institutions with everything they need. Together with our partners, we receive targeted requests from medical professionals, purchase and deliver specialized equipment needed by hospitals,” says Artem Stogniy, director of Slots City Foundation.
Volunteers from Slots City Foundation, in cooperation with a wide range of partners, work with doctors in several areas. These include supplying medical institutions with medicines, consumables for surgeries, specialized medical equipment, and generators. In addition to the hospital in the Odesa region, the Foundation systematically supports St. Michael’s Clinical Hospital in Kyiv and the Intensive Care Hospital in Mariupol, which is temporarily relocated to Kyiv.
“Ukrainian hospitals need constant support, especially now. Our partnerships and systematic cooperation with colleagues allow us to address the most urgent needs of doctors, primarily the repair of equipment and the delivery of necessary devices. This enables medical professionals not only to provide patients with essential medical care in the short term but also to establish systematic operations,” says Artem Stogniy.
Currently, in partnership with others, volunteers from Slots City Foundation are working on several new requests from doctors and are planning targeted humanitarian aid deliveries for medical professionals in cooperation with international partners.
